The Repair Process

1) Unpack incoming propellers for repair. Allocate Job No. to Owner reference cards and stamp Job No. onto propeller. Record Owner’s and propeller’s details onto Job Card.

2) Select pitchblock requirement and repitch propeller to original specification or to customers instruction.

3) Measure blade size and check propeller material, then weld blade damage.

4) Grind propeller blades to original dimensions.

5) Balance propeller and prepare surfaces for finishing.

6) Respray aluminium propellers in Manufacturers original colour. Polish or satin finish bronze and stainless steel propellers.

7) Pack propellers and return to customer.
